CPU usage of magnifier

As I found out magnifier uses the whole free CPU usage. Is this normal ? can I change something to avoid this ? I think it is a good program and I want to go on using it. But my PC gets very hot. :-(

The Magnifier is a little CPU heavy, but I'd be surprised that your CPU was overheating because of it!

It did not overheat but it became very hot. And the fan ran at maximum speed.

I'm honestly not sure how to advise!

I can advise. Check to see that there's enough video memory, or check to see if your video card can handle it. Even checking a graphics card is a good idea. Making anything bigger (even with a magnifier) can be a drain on video memory, video cards, graphics cards, and RAM. Last but not least, make sure you have up-to-date drivers for the video/graphics cards. Otherwise, it'll cause that issue.
