Needs to be able to 'lock' at a certain magnification (or can it already?)

Hi,

I love your product. It's the best magnifier out there.

My only problem is the magnification disappears everytime you change web pages (or change pages within a website).

So you constantly have to be clicking the plus and minus signs dozens and dozens of tmies as you search.

Is their anyway to 'lock in' a certain magnification and then have it hold as you change webpages?

This would make it hugely more practical.

I am very grateful for your work, this is nevertheless making my life easier.

Sincerely and apprecatively,

John

Slight clarification-- I am referring to 'Easy Read'.

That doesn't lock at the magnification you set so you have to constantly (several dozen times per session) click plus or minus to magnify each new web page or link-jump. Very tiring although otherwise the tool is better than other magnifiers in it's conception.

Thanks again,

John

Well said John. We'll look into this for the next version.

Hi -- here we are in 2009, and it has been two and a half years since John's great suggestion (and your kind response that you would look into it for the next version). Is there any update on whether and when the "locking-in" to a particular zoom level could be incorporated into Easy Read ?

Many thanks for a great product.

It is a great suggestion, but unfortunately it's not completely straightforward to build. We don't have too much time to develop our free applications, but we will still keep it in mind!
