mfc71.dll error w/ Acrobat Reader 7.0.8

Sorry if this has been adressed already.

After installing version 4 for evaluation, launching Adobe Reader 7.0.8 produces an error that the mfc71.dll file is missing and that re-installing the program may fix the problem. Reader then runs as expected after clicking "OK". I tracked it down to mfc71.dll being called by the calipers.api plug-in for Adobe, but the file does not exist in the plug-ins directory or anywhere else on the hard drive.

Is this normal for the limited eval functionality that would be corrected by purchasing a license?

I would like to suggest that the calipers.api should be removed when Screen Calipers is uninstalled.

Thanks

Thanks for posting, this is actually the first time we've seen an error like this one. The file should exist in the C:\Windows\System32 directory.

If you don't have it you can download it here:
http://www.dll-files.com/...html?mfc71

After downloading it you shouls go to Start Run and type:
regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\mfc71.dll

I would then restart Acrobat and the Calipers.

Let me know if that helps.
